September Student of the Month • Poppy C.

Congratulations to our September Student of the Month, Poppy C. (age 8)!

For the past two years, Poppy has been learning and creating with Pastimes for a Lifetime founder and veteran instructor, Linda Wehrli. It has been wonderful to watch her creativity and self-confidence grow. During her time at Pastimes, Poppy has completed Graphite 101, Oil Pastel 101, and Watercolor 201, developing strong artistic skills while discovering her own unique style. She is currently enrolled in the Acrylics 301 Course – impressive!

To celebrate her hard work, we’re excited to showcase Poppy’s virtual gallery, featuring 19 beautiful drawings and paintings. For the perfect finishing touch, Poppy selected the classic Für Elise by Ludwig van Beethoven, performed by Jon Batiste to accompany visitors as they explore her collection.

From expressive animal portraits and colorful florals to peaceful landscapes and dramatic cityscapes, Poppy’s artwork explores a wonderful variety of subjects. Each piece reflects her growing confidence, careful attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm for creating.

We’ve featured a few standout pieces below, but there’s so much more to see! Be sure to visit her virtual gallery and view all 19 works.

Congratulations, Poppy, on being our September Student of the Month! Keep creating and inspiring!

P.S. Want to own a piece of Poppy’s work? Originals and prints are available. Just reach out to Jessica@pastimesinc.com, and we’ll put you in touch with the student artist directly.
