October 2026 Student of the Month • Beth G.

Congratulations to our October Student of the Month, Beth G.!

Beth has been studying at Pastimes for a Lifetime for two years and has completed the Graphite 101 and Graphite 102 courses, developing an impressive command of the medium along the way.

Graphite is often the “unsung hero” of the art world, as Pastimes founder and veteran instructor, Linda Wehrli always says. Beth’s beautiful work proves just how expressive and captivating graphite can be. Through careful observation, subtle shading, and incredible attention to detail, she has truly excelled in this versatile medium.

To celebrate her accomplishments, we’re excited to showcase Beth’s Virtual Gallery, featuring 9 stunning graphite drawings. Each piece demonstrates her growing confidence and skill, from delicate values and textures to beautifully rendered subjects. Linda chose the song Adolorido (Ache) by the Aca Seca Trio from their album, La Musica Y La Palabra to accompany guests throughout the walkthrough.

We’ve featured two of her standout pieces below, but there’s much more to see! Be sure to visit her Virtual Gallery and enjoy all 9 of her beautiful graphite drawings.

Beth’s dedication and talent shine through in every drawing, and it has been wonderful to see her artistic skills develop throughout her time at Pastimes.

Congratulations, Beth, on being our October Student of the Month! We’re so proud to celebrate your talent and dedication. Keep creating! 👏

P.S. Want to own a piece of her work? Originals and prints are available. Just reach out to Jessica@pastimesinc.com, and we’ll put you in touch with the student artist directly.
