Following the student portion of the concert, pianist Linda Wehrli had the pleasure of closing the show with two solo piano pieces, Mompou’s Variation No. 2 and Utterback’s Arizona Dawn.

Master sound engineer, Randall Michael Tobin of Theta Sound Studio expertly edited the student performances which can be enjoyed on Pastimes for a Lifetime’s YouTube channel.

After the concert, students and guests enjoyed delicious gourmet empanadas and desserts by Chef Roger X. Navas-Balladares, B.A  of Savory Roads Catering along with platters of fruit, veggies, delicious dips and chips and beverages generously donated by students’ families. Performers and staff received artisanal dark chocolate musical notes by Anita Burgoyne of Custom Chocolate Designs, a lovely way to end a beautiful concert!
