On Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Theta Sound Studios, Burbank, proud piano teacher Linda Wehrli hosted her annual Fall Student Piano Concert.
This year’s line up included classical, contemporary and holiday solos performed by nine of her students:
Carmen S., Dhruv R., Mason S., Ryan P., Isabella S., Adela M., Aidan C., Cameron C. and Sara B.

Family friend, Herb Gore graciously performed the duty of Master of Ceremonies, introducing the students and their pieces.

At the end of the student portion of the concert, pianist Linda Wehrli had the honor of accompanying award winning flutist, Ljiljana Lukic, performing the challenging Cantabile et Presto by Georges Enesco.

Randall Michael Tobin of Theta Sound Studio was at the helm. When the MP3s of the student performances are ready, they will be uploaded to both Pastimes for a Lifetime’s Student Piano Concert Webpage and YouTube channel. Stay tuned.

After the concert, students and guests enjoyed delicious gourmet sandwiches and desserts by Chef Pete Miller of Pete’s Sweets along with platters of fruit and veggies and beverages generously donated by students’ families. Performers and staff received artisanal dark chocolate musical notes by Anita Burgoyne of Custom Chocolate Designs.
