Two of Pastimes for a Lifetime‘s advanced piano students had the honor and privilege of performing at the San Fernando Valley Arts & Cultural Center’s‘ Winter Art Faire’s Gallery Opening Party on Sunday, December 6 from 5-7PM.
Aidan Caplan and Cameron Carr performed beautiful seasonal pieces while guests shopped for artwork and handmade crafts and enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and beverages.
This was the cultural center’s 2nd annual Winter Art Faire. Paintings, collages, photography, ceramics, jewelry, and handmade crafts for the holidays will be on display until December 20, 2015. It is a great opportunity for local artists to display and sell their work.
Piano teacher, Linda Wehrli includes performing in front of a live audience as part of her curriculum. “It is an effective way for students to build their skills and confidence,” says Linda.
Carolyn Uhri, President of the San Fernando Valley Arts & Cultural Center presented Aidan and Cameron with beautiful Certificates of Merit.
Thanks to Ken Ronney, President of the California Art League for allowing Linda Wehrli’s students to perform at this wonderful venue.
