May 2026 Student of the Month • Luda S.

We’re kicking off our May Student of the Month spotlight in a big way, and trust us, this one is special.

Meet Luda S. – a dedicated artist celebrating her second Virtual Solo Art Show and an incredible 10-year journey at Pastimes for a Lifetime. That kind of consistency isn’t just rare, it shows up in her stellar work!

For the past 10 years, Luda has studied under veteran instructor Linda Wehrli, building her skills with focus and patience. And now? She’s leveling up in the Acrylics 301 Course, prompting us to celebrate with a second Virtual Art Showcase.

Over the years, Luda has developed a strong artistic foundation, completing the following courses:

• Graphite 101
• Oil Pastel 101
• Watercolor 201
• Acrylics 301

Translation? She didn’t rush the process, she mastered it!

As our Student of the Month, Luda is awarded a Virtual Solo Art Showcase with a feature here on Pastimes’ blog. Inside a chic, warehouse-style gallery, you’ll find Luda’s 15 new acrylic paintings. Think: striking portraits, tranquil seascapes, expressive animal studies, still lifes, florals, and architectural scene – all thoughtfully curated into one immersive exhibit.

And because great art deserves a great soundtrack, Linda chose the song My Favorite Things by Dave Brubeck to accompany the journey.

We’ve highlighted a few standout pieces below, but don’t stop there! Her full Virtual Gallery is where the magic really unfolds.

Luda, this milestone is huge, and so well deserved. Congrats again on your beautiful May solo show. 👏

P.S. Want to own a piece of Luda’s work? Originals and prints are available. Just reach out at Jessica@pastimesinc.com and we’ll take care of the rest.
