June 2024 Student of the Month :: Alyssa G.
We’re kicking off Summer with a June 2024 Student of the Month blog featuring Pastimes’ art student, Alyssa G.! Although she has only been studying for two years with veteran art instructor, Linda Wehrli, her work is quite impressive. And did we mention she’s only 8-years-old? You wouldn’t believe it with her stunning showcase, below.
Alyssa has completed the following courses at Pastimes:
As Student of the Month, Alyssa is awarded a Virtual Solo Art Showcase with a feature here on Pastimes’ blog. On display are Alyssa’s 18 exquisite oil pastel, watercolor, and acrylic works. Captivating paintings of animal portraits, still lifes, landscapes, architecture, and florals are mounted on virtual walls inside a chic warehouse-style gallery. She chose Sonata No. 14 ‘Moonlight’ in C-Sharp Minor, Op. 27 No. 2 I. Adagio Sostenuto by Pio Palumbo & Ludwig van Beethoven to accompany guests through the virtual walkthrough. Classy! We’ve highlighted some of her stellar work below, but please be sure to check out her Virtual Gallery for the entire catalog!
