Our July blog calendar opens with our Student of the Month! We celebrate the accomplishments of longtime art student Sumeet V. who started his art class journey at our studio 10 years ago with veteran instructor, Linda Wehrli. He is currently enrolled in the Water-Soluble Oil 401 Course, the highest level course at Pastimes! 
Sumeet has completed the following courses: Graphite 101, Graphite 102, Oil Pastel 101, Watercolor 201, Acrylics 301, and Water-soluble Oils 401.

As Student of the Month, Sumeet is awarded a Virtual Solo Art Showcase and featured here on Pastimes’ blog. On display are Sumeet’s 22 works in Acrylics and Oils. Captivating paintings of portraits, seascapes, animal portraits, still life, florals and architecture are mounted on virtual walls inside a chic warehouse-style gallery. He went along with Linda’s recommended gallery music, Happy by Pharrell Williams to accompany guests visiting his exhibit. Selections from the show are displayed below.
