If you’re looking for an unique, eclectic art show, the Pancakes & Booze Art Show is just what you’ve been waiting for! Established in May of 2009, the Pancakes & Booze Art Show is an art and music pop-up movement that has swept the nation with the country’s largest exhibit of emerging artists! I was lucky enough to exhibit in the Los Angeles show on May 6 & 7, 2016 at Lot 613 in LA’s Downtown Arts District. Pastimes for a Lifetime‘s adult art student, Jennifer L., also exhibited several of her animal paintings.
The event was $5 cash at the door, and there were around 150 local artists on display, live music and canvas & body painting performances, a free photo booth, and best of all – FREE PANCAKES! Exhibiting artists were also able to sell their work, if they chose to do so.
Overall, it was very organized and a successful, fun art show. I will definitely be submitting artwork next year!
If you are interested in attending or displaying artwork in a Pancakes & Booze Art Show, they now exhibit in the following cities: LA, New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver, Toronto, Seattle, Washington DC, Nashville, Portland, Vancouver, Houston, Miami, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Dallas, Austin, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, San Diego, Phoenix, & London!
