I was ecstatic to learn that my favorite artist, Casey Baugh, was going to display a recent oil painting in a Pop-up Art Show at The Dream Factory Los Angeles Studio in the Downtown LA Arts District! Just a day before the exhibit, the show was announced on various exhibiting artists’ Instagrams (thank you social media!). The gallery opening was from 6 – 9pm, on Saturday, July 9, 2016, sponsored by Royal Talens.

The exhibition portrayed a wide-range of different mediums, perspectives, and artistic approaches. It created a unique dialogue between abstraction, figuration, performance, and installation art —traditionalism colliding with futurism.
