Pastimes for a Lifetime celebrated Halloween this year by throwing a super fun party for its students, ages 12 and up. Friends and longtime former and current art students and their families came by to celebrate.

At 4:30PM sharp on Saturday, October 28, 2017, founder/instructor Linda Wehrli, manager Jessica Lee Sanders and students scurried to set up and decorate the studio for the party.

Chef Peter Miller arrived promptly at 4:45PM with his delicious platters. Many thanks to guests who brought tasty finger foods and bottled waters for the refreshments table.

The main event was having my art student, Sophia Hagobian paint guests’ faces for Halloween.
Linda Wehrli’s top piano student, Aidan C. entertained guests with Halloween tunes, in costume as the Phantom of the Opera.

Guests enjoyed painting mini canvases of Halloween themes or drawing their favorite cartoons on the doodle wall.
Some guests came in costume.
It was such fun that Pastimes for a Lifetime will likely continue to host Halloween Parties each year. To be sure to receive an invitation, please be sure to join our email list. Simply click on the link in the footer.
Best Wishes for a safe and Happy Halloween!

I’ve been committed to continuing lifelong learning and inspiring creative thinking through art and music since 1989. I’d love to meet you! You’re welcome to chat with me on Zoom or stop by the studio. Just shoot me an email at Linda@pastimesinc.com and I’ll be glad to set up a mutually convenient time.
A great time was had by all!
So glad you were able to attend. Indeed!
It is worth checking out the history of Halloween. A link on this is at http://www.history.com/topics/halloween/history-of-halloween . To me, it seems rather strange. But people usually think only about the fun aspects. This celebration looks like it was great fun. Can I have a cookie or other delicious item left over from that party?
Thank you. I wish you could have been there. Sorry, no leftovers. 🙂
Guess my invitation got lost in the mail…
Sorry to learn you didn’t get the email invitation. Did you check your spam folder?
Linda I loved your face painting. You belong in N’Awlins (New Orleans) at Mardi Gras.
