Piano Lessons

How to enroll in 3 easy steps.

1. Review the CURRICULUM per each level of skill:
    Beginning, Intermediate, or Advanced.
2. Review the LESSON SCHEDULE to determine the day, time and how long you want
     to take your piano lesson.
3. ENROLL! Reserve your classes today by calling 818-766-0614, emailing the instructor
    at Linda@pastimesinc.com or registering online.

Format

  • Piano lessons are taught by Linda Wehrli at her beautiful Valley Glen studio.
  • Ages 7 and above are welcome.
  • Each lesson is 30-minutes, 45-minutes or 1 hour.
  • Lessons are held weekly, Tuesday through Saturday, year round.
  • Additional classes may be booked depending on availability.
  • Students reserve their day and time for the month or semester.

  • Lessons are sold in monthly or semester packages.
     Semester packages receive a 10% discount.

CURRICULUM

Linda Wehrli’s unique curriculum is a holistic approach to piano education. At all levels, musicianship and technical skills are developed while learning to read and play music.

Topics are presented in an easy gradient, building the student’s confidence along the way. This solid foundation will provide you for a lifetime of enjoyment at the piano.

Students new to the piano as well as students returning to the piano are welcome.

Homeschool Lessons

Pastimes for a Lifetime offers flexible scheduling for homeschool students. To enroll in a current workshop or customize a class time that fits your homeschool schedule, contact Linda Wehrli at 818-766-0614 or Linda@pastimesinc.com.

Self Study Program

Students with distance or schedule constraints can still partake in the Pastimes piano curriculum. All the piano materials packages available through Pastimes are appropriate for self-study students. Note: Self-study is designed for ages 15 and up.

Live Video Instruction

TUITION & ENROLLMENT

Monthly Packages:

4 to 5 lessons per month (based on the number of weeks per month), booked once per week:

30-minute Lesson Package $28/lesson for a total of $112.00 for 4 lessons

45-minute Lesson Package $36/lesson for a total of $144.00 for 4 lessons

1-hour Lesson Package $44/lesson for a total of $176.00 for 4 lessons

Semester Packages:

13 lessons within a 3-month block qualifies for a 10% discount Lessons are booked once per week:

30-minute Lesson Package $25.20/lesson for a total of $327.60

45-minute Lesson Package $32.40/lesson for a total of $421.20

1-hour Lesson Package $39.60/lesson for a total of $514.80

Pastimes for a Lifetime offers gift certificates valued at any of the fine art, calligraphy, and piano classes offered. Be it a $20 one-hour art workshop to $327.60 13-weeks of half an hour piano lessons, we will help you choose the right gift for the right person.
  • Certificates are beautifully created with the recipient’s name hand written
   in calligraphy.
  • Certificates won’t have an expiration date.
  • If lost/stolen, Pastimes will have the certificates numbered and registered by the
     purchaser (not the recipient) for easy reference.

  • No enrollment fees
  • The School Policy: To complete enrollment, the student or parent is required
     to review, sign and return Pastimes for a Lifetime’s School Policy Agreement
     at the first art class.
